My personal philosophy statement:
I want to trust and love others without judging them. I want to be a kid on the inside and not be embarrassed. I want to be remembered for who I was and what I did. I want to live life to the fullest with the time I am given.

I am afraid. Not of life or death or nothingness...
but of wasting it as if I had never been.

I want to return to a time when life was simple,
when all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes,
but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know
and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy because you were
blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or
upset.

I want to think that everyone is honest and good.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly
excited by the little things again.

I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of
paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than
there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of
loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind
word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and
making angels in the snow.

Live every moment
Laugh every day
Love beyond words

The sun illuminates only the eye of the man,
but shines into the eye and the heart of the child.
Children, who play in life, discern its true law and relations more clearly than men.

I think about all the different ways we leave people in this world.
Cheerily waving good-bye to some at airports, knowing we'll never see each other again.
Leaving others on the side of the road, hoping that we will.
So let mercy come and wash away what I've done.

Put to rest what you thought of me.
When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done
help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
I prefer to be true to myself,
even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others,
rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.

Because a good man is hard to find, do not judge
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself
Judgments prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.
Thou go to mix forever with man to be a brother to all that breathe
People have trusted you don't let them down.

So why should we live with such a hurry and waste of life?
We roam from chamber to chamber with hurried, unequal, and objectless step
Life is God's most precious gift
We must delight in virtue;
and that which we delight in must be happy.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
