Anna's Anecdote
My personal philosophy statement: Do not be afraid of change. You should embrace every change and learn to improve yourself and your life through these changes. Changes help you to see your life in a different perspective and allow oneself to start over. Believe the best in life and make the most of every situation.
Fear of the unknown: Change involves taking a risk and stepping out of what is normal and familiar and into something that is new and different. This involves taking a risk and letting new experiences and challenges come and face them without fear. As Franklin D. Roosevelt stated,"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

Be the change you want to see in the world.
Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

It takes a lot of courage
to release the familiar and seemingly secure,
to embrace the new.

But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting,
for in movement there is life,
in change there is power.

Change is inevitable
It can impact your life positively
if you take the challenge
to learn something new.
Change pushes us
to find alternative ways to grow
be more productive
in life and in business.

People might not get
all they work for in this world,
but they must certainly
work for all they get.

We cannot adopt
the way of living that was satisfactory
a hundred years ago.
The world
in which we live
has changed.
There is a misty plot afoot
so subtle
we should be criminal
to cling to old respects
ancient friendships.

The Village society without change
Modern Society progressed because of change

The key to change is to let go of fear.
Oppressed, as you certainly are,
upon the occurrence of the second
most extraordinary coincidence,
by sufficient presence of mind to avoid exciting,
by any observation, the sensitive nervousness of your companion.

It was the night things changed.
You resume the narrative of Sir Lancelot
completely unnerved,
you leap to your feet.

The walls that they put up to hold you back
fell down.

The important thing is this:
To be able at any moment
to sacrifice what we are
for what we could become.

We must build a new world,
a far better world
one in which the eternal dignity of man is respected

They say that time changes things,
but you actually have to change them yourself.

I didn't know I was a slave
until I found out
I couldn't do the things I wanted.

I prayed for twenty years
but received no answer
until I prayed with my legs

In times of change,
learners inherit the Earth,
while the learned
find themselves beautifully equipped
to deal with a world that no longer exists.

Renew thyself completely each day;
do it again, and again,
forever again.

Subject opinion to coercion:
whom will you make your inquisitors?

But is uniformity of opinion desirable?
Instead of noblemen,
let us have noble villages of men
Difference of opinion is advantageous
in religion.

Is uniformity attainable?

The power which resides in you is new in nature,
none but you know what that is which you can do,
nor does you know until you has tried.

Olympus is but the outside of the earth everywhere
Yet it is certain that the power to produce this delight,
does not reside in nature,
but in man,
or in the harmony of both.

When thoughts of the last bitter hour
come like a blight
make thee to shudder
Grow sick at heart
Let it go.
If it ends, it ends.
Go forth under the open sky
We can move towards hope,
that's what's beautiful about this place.

Silence would be more easy.
To believe your own thought
to believe that what is true for you
in your private heart
is true for all men
That is genius
So I gave Silence
the second place.

If there is no struggle,
there is no progress.

It is not light that we need,
but fire;
it is not the gentle shower,
but thunder.
We need the storm,
the whirlwind
the earthquake.
After you get stung,
you can't get unstung
no matter how much you whine about it.

Man's greatness consists in his ability to do
You gotta imagine
what's never been
The proper application of his powers
to things needed to be done.

It is error alone
which needs the support of government.
Truth can stand by itself.

The whole problem with people is
they know what matters,
but they don't choose it.
The hardest thing on earth
is choosing what matters.
People grow through experience
if they meet life honestly
This is how character is built.

Change is inevitable.
Change is power.
