Philosopy Statement: I want to suck the marrow out of life.
I want to live and love so that when looking back, I will not regret what I have or haven't done. I want to stop wishing my life away by saying things like "I can't wait for the weekend" or " wow this class hour feels like an eternity". Really life is quite the opposite; it silently ticks by without us noticing. I want to find joy and meaning in every day lived and embrace all experiences. I don't want to be remembered for what I did, but for how I lived.

But I won't hesitate no more, no more,
It cannot wait
With life we never know
When we're coming up to the end of the road

Every moment that we borrow,
Brings us to the long sleep that outlasts love,
that conquers even the grimace of love.
To mix forever with the elements,
With patriarchs of the infant world--with kings,
The powerful of the earth,--the wise, the good
All in one mighty sepulchre.
You got to die to make room for somebody else.
This is our fate.

Our time is short.
The days we are given are gifts from above.

Society everywhere is in conspiracy against the manhood of every one of its members.
We but half express ourselves, and are ashamed
of that divine idea which each of us represents.
How utterly thou hast murdered thyself.
Our life is frittered away by detail
God himself culminates in the present moment
and will never be more divine in the lapse of all the ages.

Imitation is suicide.
I had to endure the knowing and strangely sarcastic smiles of my namesake himself
How greatly this harrassed me.
To believe your own thought,
To believe that what is true for you in your
Private heart is true for all men--that is genius.
Hold your head up!
Let none be your judge, there be no higher judge in heaven.
Truth can stand by itself.

Behind them the line of woods gaped like a dark open mouth,
But I never knew such goodness in the world!
We never moved seperately. We were one;
They were great day to my soul!
I am the lover of uncontained and immortal beauty.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,
and see if I could not learn what it had to teach and not,

When I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Our time is short.
Be not diturbed at trifles-at a mere look, word, or motion, a mistake,
Or at accidents common or unavoidable
It ain't done nothing but cause trouble
Judge men by their souls and not by thier skins
Find the best in others

Everybody's got stones

in their passway.
You got to step over them or walk around them.
There's no need to complicate.
Rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
Laugh often and much.

What would it take for the clouds to break
For us to realize each day is a gift somehow, someway?
Live deep and suck out all the marrow out of life.
Look into you heart and you'll find love, love, love, love.
It's what we aim to do.

Be the candle that will light the world!

I must take myself for better, for worse.
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is the meaning of success.
I soon found the advantage of this change in my manner.
